Where is my data stored?
It is stored only inside your own browser (localStorage and IndexedDB). It is never sent to our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I see my records on another device or browser?
Not by default — records are stored separately per device and browser. Use the "Backup" button to export your records as a JSON file, then use "Restore" on another device or browser to bring them over.
Will my records be lost if I clear my browser data?
Yes. Clearing site data, resetting or replacing your device, or switching browsers can cause your saved records to be lost. We recommend backing up your records regularly.
Is there a fee to use this site?
No, it is free, and no account registration is required.
Is this an official UNESCO website?
No, this is an unofficial site. For accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the official UNESCO/WHC pages.
Are the photos on this site official UNESCO photos?
No. Featured images on this site are independently generated illustrative images and do not accurately reproduce the actual scenery, structures, or preservation state. Official UNESCO/WHC descriptions, photos, and logos are not used.
Which languages are supported?
Japanese and English have dedicated pages (URLs). Korean, Spanish, and French are available via the language switcher in the top right of the app.
As of when is the number of sites counted?
The site currently assumes 1,273 World Heritage Sites as of August 2026. This number may change with future inscriptions or revisions.
My backup file is too large. What can I do?
We also offer a "backup without photos" option, which saves only your visit records, dates, and notes for a much smaller file. We recommend keeping your original photos saved elsewhere as well.
