What is this site?
World Heritage Passport is a personal travel log where you can mark the UNESCO World Heritage Sites you have visited, and add your own photos and notes. It covers all 1,273 World Heritage Sites (as of August 2026). It is not an information guide — think of it as a stamp book for your own visit records.
How to use it
- Find a site: Use the "Browse by country", "All sites", and "Visited" tabs, plus search, to find places you have been or want to go.
- Mark a site as visited: Click a card to open its details, then press "Mark as visited". You can also add a visit date and notes.
- Add a photo: Upload a photo from the detail screen and it becomes the stamp image shown for that site.
- Check your progress: Completion bars show your progress by region and worldwide. A memorial animation appears when you complete a whole region or all sites.
- Back up your records: Use the "Backup" button to save your records as a JSON file on your device. Load that file with "Restore" when switching devices or browsers to carry your records over.
What makes this site different
- Your visit records, photos, and notes are stored only inside your own browser and are never sent to our servers (see the Privacy Policy for details).
- It is free to use, and no account registration is required.
- Featured images on this site are independently generated illustrative images. It does not use official UNESCO/WHC descriptions, photos, or logos.
- Japanese and English have dedicated pages. Korean, Spanish, and French are available via the language switcher in the top right.
